the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation
Founded in 1917, the British Columbia
Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) is a union of professionals representing over
47,000 public school teachers in the province of BC. As an organization, we are
dedicated to advancing learning conditions for students concurrently with advocating
for BC’s public-school teachers and the teaching profession. We are also deeply

role provides on-demand reporting and analysis, coordinates
Development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Monitoring the application of Federation policies and the BCTF Members’ Guide for compliance to establish policies and procedures for coding, processing, storing, and retrieving member records.
- Maintaining and developing effective control systems to ensure that the dissemination of membership information is made only within established policies and procedures.
- Recommending and implementing changes in systems and procedures to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency, and timeliness.
